Miss Teen Earth International Chloé-Jade Christian has taken a giant stride in the fashion industry after being announced as the ambassador for New Romantics Couture.
In this collaboration, Christian was selected by Nadene Marx of New Romantics Couture to be the face of the brand.
“Chloé-Jade is always such a bundle of friendliness and a breath of fresh air. She lights up a room, is very patient and is willing to try new designs. She was an obvious choice for our new teen ambassador,” said Marx.
The teenage model, who has always loved dressed up since she was a child said she is thrilled about this collaboration as fashion is her first love.
“I would raid my mother’s cupboard, parading around in her oversized dresses and high-heels, and loving every moment. It was my form of escapism and self-expression, and it still is to this very day. Fashion makes me feel liberated and free to be me.
“It makes me feel confident and brave, and New Romantics designs speak to my heart,” she said.

Experiment and try to find your style that fits you
Personal style is all about expressing your individuality through fashion. Raid your wardrobe for some inspiration and wear what makes you feel confident and content.
Find colours that complement your skin tone and hair colour, and build around that
Your skin complexion and hair play a huge role in how your outfits turn out. For example, dark-skinned people look gorgeous in bright colours and gold jewellery, whereas neutral-skin-toned people look great in dusty pink, white or peach.
Try to find clothes that complement your body type
We all have unique bodies and understanding what suits your body shape makes everything better because you are able to find your style and feel confident.
You don’t always need the newest clothes to look elegant and classy, use what you have.
Practice makes perfect. Play around with your wardrobe by pairing and matching to see what works for you and what doesn’t.
Don’t be afraid to experiment. Another great way to enhance what you already own is to add accessories. A colourful belt, a dazzling handbag, some dangling earrings and you’ve got yourself a winner.
