Flau’Jae and Lil Wayne have released the music video for their hit song, “Came Out A Beast.”
The single, which was released in June, has already been well received by music lovers across the globe.
Meanwhile, the visuals for the track, which was released last Wednesday, are now also making waves.
It saw the multi-platinum rapper Lil Wayne as well as the rising hip hop artist and songwriter Flau’Jae trending on social media as fans applauded them for their creativity which came across in the music video.
And as Flau’Jae is a NCAA women’s basketball champion, her love for sport was brought to life in the music video.
This is as her vibrant lyrics and him spitting bars on a basketball court anchor the video, which was directed by Terrius Mykel.
The energetic music video also captures the chemistry between the two artists.
“Working with Lil Wayne on the ‘Came Out A Beast’ video was a dream come true,” Flau’jae was quoted by “The Source” as saying.
“He’s a legend in the game and being able to collaborate with him on this track was surreal,” she added.
“The energy on set was incredible and we both brought that fire to the video. This is just the beginning and I’m excited for everyone to see what we’ve created.”
This week, she took to X to write: “THIS IS THE MOST LEGENDARY MOMENT EVER ! WE GOING DOWN IN HISTORY ! CAME OUT A BEAST FT. LIL WAYNE OUT NOW #cameoutabeast.”
The single is off her new album "Best of Both Worlds", which is the same name as her podcast and her first release as a Roc Nation artist.
