Superfan and secretary-general of the South African National Association of Supporters Union (SANASU) Mama Joy Chauke is remaining loyal to Royal Am amid the club's ongoing challenges.
The Durban-based side had their Betway Premiership clash against Chippa United, originally scheduled for Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, postponed.
On Monday, Chippa United expressed their frustration over the postponement, stating that the PSL had not provided the club with an explanation for the rescheduling.
"Chippa United Football Club announces with disappointment that our scheduled fixture against Royal AM, set for January 11, 2025, at 5.45pm at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, has been postponed by the league with no given reason,” the club said in a statement.

According to SABC Sport, the fixture was postponed because Royal AM players have not returned to training due to unpaid salaries from December. The club is said to have requested the PSL to delay the match while they work to address the matter.
Last year, FIFA imposed a ban on the club from signing new players due to their failure to pay R15 million owed to striker Samir Nurkovic. Things have continued to worsen for the club, as owner Shauwn Mkhize is allegedly indebted to Sars for R40 million.
However, despite the challenges, Mama Joy, a former Orlando Pirates supporter, took to X to express that she will remain a 'Thwihli Thwahla' fan forever.
In response to an X user who questioned her departure from the club as news of the club's struggles emerged, Mama Joy reaffirmed her unwavering support for the Durban-based side.
