This week Dr Norman Cahi shares his fascination with doors.

“I have always had a keen interest in taking photographs of beautiful doors. Around the world, wherever I find myself I snap doors. I find them interesting, intriguing and inviting. It leaves me wondering what lies beyond each door. Here are some of the most beautiful doors I have photographed over many, many years,” Cahi said

Blue is my favourite colour. Any hue, shade, colour blue. This gorgeous periwinkle blue door I found in Nottinghill London.
The imposing front door of Highclere Castle which was the setting for Downton Abbey blockbuster series.
The Cotswolds in England is a glorious display of beautifully painted doors.
Moorish design of an intricately carved wooden door in Dubai.
The stunning heritage doors of London’s Chiltern Firehouse which now houses top class restaurants.
The jaw dropping Barcelona beauty of the iconic Sagrada Familia Cathedral
A risqué but cute doorway in Amsterdam’s red light district.
Cradock the sleepy Eastern Cape hamlet boasts this magnificent doorway and front court with cast iron lamppost.
