Former Miss Universe (2019) Zozibini Tunzi is back in pageantry but as a judge.
The longest-reigning Miss Universe has been invited to be a judge at Miss Universe Vietnam taking place at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on September 14.
“I am so excited to announce that I have been invited by the president of Miss Universe Vietnam to be a judge this Saturday at the finale. Everybody who knows me knows I am a champion of women, a huge fan of women who have a voice and like to introduce us to their countries and everything that they stand for.
“So I’m so excited to see this calibre of women. I cannot wait to be the judge, and I cannot wait to be in Vietnam for the very first time,” said the former beauty queen.
Since handing over her Miss Universe reigns to Andrea Meza of Mexico in 2020, Tunzi began her TV journey (besides acting) in 2023 by hosting Miss South Africa’s reality TV show called “Crown Chasers”.
She then got a big break that same year and was the co-host of the ninth Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in Lagos, Nigeria. That same year, she also co-hosted the Saftas with Lawrence Maleka.
Tunzi is no stranger to the Miss Universe franchise because, besides walking the stage, she has also been a guest host at Miss Universe Philippines in 2023.
Her fans are happy for her and promised to watch Miss Universe Vietnam just see her at Miss Universe once again, even though she won’t be walking the stage.
