A man from Los Angeles in the US - known as Tank - has opened up about the unique challenges and experiences of having been born with two fully functional penises.
Tank was born with a rare condition called diphallia, or penile duplication, where a full or partial second penis is formed. Only about 100 cases have been reported over the past 400 years.
Tank shared that his unusual condition has made his sex life both intriguing and complex.
"Women didn't believe it when I told them I had two penises, but then I took them to the room, they'd see," he revealed during an interview with the YouTube channel Soft White Underbelly.
Some of his sexual partners were intrigued and enjoyed the experience, while others found it uncomfortable and even painful.
One ex-partner was so fascinated by his condition that she suggested they film a pornographic video together. Although Tank briefly considered entering the adult film industry, he ultimately decided against it, stating that his dignity was "priceless“.
Tank, who served time in prison during his teens, began exploring his sexuality with his two penises at the age of 24.
He described the sensation as "twice the pleasure" during intercourse, explaining, "when I was penetrating a woman, I would get a feeling, but one of my penises is like at the side and feels like it’s going to blow up“.
His decision to undergo surgery to remove one of his penises came after finding that the condition made having sex difficult.
He also mentioned that wearing underwear was uncomfortable due to the tight fit. Tank also revealed that he could urinate and ejaculate through both penises simultaneously.
Tank's father was born with large testicles, and he noted that his own son has an unusually large penis.
In 2014, Tank published a book titled “Double Header: My Life With Two Penises”, detailing his experiences.
