Former Miss South Africa 2018 winner Tamaryn Green Nxumalo and her husband Ze, are pregnant and expecting their first child, “Baby Nxumalo”. The couple announced their pregnancy on Monday.
Congratulatory comments flooded Green Nxumalo’s Instagram page, including Miss SA winners Zozibini Tunzi, Natasha Joubert and Mia le Roux, who were among her star studded friends to congratulate her.
“So happy for you Tam,” said le Roux.
“I can’t wait to meet this blessed little one,” said Joubert, while Tunzi gushed: “So so precious, congratulations”.
Green Nxumalo was crowned Miss South Africa in 2018 shared with her followers a heartfelt post that she has a bun in the oven.
She shared an Instagram reel of her and her husband, Ze, showcasing her pregnancy scan and baby bump.
“Couldn't have asked for a better gift on my 30th birthday. What a blessing we’ve been given,” she captioned her post.
Green Nxumalo also shared on Instagram a heart warming caption thanking everyone for the congratulatory wishes and heartfelt birthday wishes.
“Thank you to everyone for all the heartfelt birthday and congratulatory wishes. We are beyond excited for the new journey ahead,” she wrote.
The 30-year-old model also represented South Africa in the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 and became the first runner-up.
Green Nxumalo, who is also a medical doctor, got engaged in 2021 and then tied the knot in 2022 with Ze.
The couple celebrated their wedding in a beautiful traditional Zulu ceremony first then later proceeded to have a white wedding.
The former Miss SA, who is a TB survivor, was diagnosed with TB in 2015, which inspired her to start a campaign called #breakthestigma in 2018.
