North West prefers living a simpler life at her dad Kanye West's apartment with no private staff or security.

The eldest daughter of the 'Good Morning' rapper, 46, and Skims founder Kim Kardashian, 43, would much rather stay at her father's place than her mom's lavish $60-million Hidden Hills mansion, where she has a chef and a manny.

Speaking to her sister Kourtney Kardashian, 44, on Thursday's episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim said of her 10-year-old daughter: "She'll be like, 'Dad is the best.'

"'He has it all figured out. He doesn't have a nanny, he doesn't have a chef, he doesn't have security. He lives in an apartment.'

"And she'll start crying, 'Why don't you have an apartment? I can't believe we don't have an apartment.'"

However, it turns out Kourtney's brood prefer their father Scott Disick's small place, too.

The pregnant Poosh founder - who has Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight, with the 40-year-old reality star - replied: "They do that at Scott's too.

"'Dad has the best house, your house sucks. He has the best house. It's not super big, the vibe's better.' I feel like everything falls on the parent that's more involved.'"

Kim - who also has Chicago, five, and sons Saint, seven, and four-year-old Psalm with West - admits she's learned a lot from North about life and the art of "patience".

In a confessional, she said: "Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet.

"I'm supposed to learn even more about patience - she teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life."

North is far beyond her years and has just had her first solo cover interview with i-D magazine, where she revealed she aspires to own Yeezy and Skims.

Aged just 10, North is already thinking about being a businesswoman like her parents and is eyeing taking over their fashion firms.

She told the publication: “One day I want to own Yeezy and Skims, and I want to be a business owner."

Until then, she'd like to earn some pocket money walking dogs to pay for her art tools.

She said: “When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive."
