The latest major celebrity to be spotted enjoying some amapiano is the multi Grammy award-winning rapper Jay-Z.
A recent video of the ‘Empire State of Mind’ star jamming in his Land Rover to Lojay and Sarz’s amapiano hit ‘Monalisa’ has been making the rounds on social media.
The video was taken as Jay-Z arrived at Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July Hamptons bash.
The ultra exclusive party was attended by the likes of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Justin and Hailey Bieber all dressed up in all white.

On Instagram, @the_don_filly shared that he felt this isn’t as big a deal as people are making it out to be. “Nothing special about American celebrities or artists listening to African music honestly, it's about time we admit that they are just people who are also fans of nice music.”
Earlier this week Ronaldo, who’s the world’s most followed person on Instragram, posted a workout video using audio from an amapiano single called “Ma Gang” by the late Costa Titch featuring Phantom Steeze, Champuru Makhenzo, C’buda M Man T and Sdida.
