Fresh off the back of releasing two Vultures albums with Ty Dolla Sign earlier this year, Kanye West has already got something new cooking.
Performing at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China, West dropped that his next album, “Bully”, is on the way. And as if that wasn’t enough, he gave fans a taste of what’s coming by performing the “Beauty and the Beast” track live on stage.
As West soaked up the energy from the packed stadium, he casually announced, “I got a new album coming out. The album called ”Bully“, and the song is called ”Beauty and the Beast.”
The track itself shows a different side of West – a softer, more reflective vibe with a laid-back instrumental.
But don’t get it twisted; this is still Ye, and the lyrics make that clear: “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”
This announcement feels like classic West – bold, unexpected, and completely on his terms. After a roller-coaster year that saw him calling out Hollywood and spilling industry secrets, “Bully” could be his way of addressing the criticism and backlash he’s faced.
He’s never been one to play by the rules, and his recent interviews and social media rants have only cemented his role as the industry’s ultimate disruptor.
Let’s not forget, this is the same man who’s faced cancelled deals, massive public fallouts, and still keeps fans coming back for more. Love him or hate him, Ye has proven his ability to reinvent himself while staying true to his vision.
With “Bully” on the horizon, there’s no doubt the new album will come with a mix of controversy, creativity, and his signature unapologetic flair.
