It’s been seven months since multi-award-winning actor Mpho Sebeng died. The “Ring Of Lies” star passed away in a horrific car accident on May 5.

The actor, born on December 1, would have been 32 and his former colleagues took to social media to wish him a happy heavenly birthday.

“Happy birthday, son. Oh, Mpho, I miss you so much. I don't want to cry, but I can't help myself. I love you, my son,” said Nthati Moshesh, who was Sebeng’s small screen mom in “Ingoma: The Song.””

In another tweet, she added: “I wish I could give you a hug one more time. Happy birthday, son.”

Sebeng and Moshesh have worked together on several shows, including “Savage Beauty”, “Ring of Lies”, “Saints and Sinners” and “Ingoma: The Song”.

"I remember this scene so vividly. You reacted to my tears and that made me cry even harder on ‘Ingoma-the Song’," Moshesh said at the time of Sebeng’s passing.

"If I'd known that this was one of my last hugs to you, I would have squeezed you tighter young beautiful, kind, loving, respectful man."

Meanwhile, Sebeng’s friends hosted a get-together to celebrate their late friend’s birthday.

“It’s our chom #MphoSebeng’s birthday (in heaven) and we’re having a real housemates sleepover today in celebration of his life and our friendship.

“Our friendship was established when we went into the Big Brother house for a sleepover on January 22, 2022, and it’s almost 3 years in so we remember the one we lost and celebrate that we’re still together.

“Long may the memory of Mpho live on in our hearts and minds,” said Sibu Mabena.
