Out of the more than 2,500 dollar billionaires in the world, only 22 billionaires are black, with people like South Africa's mining magnate Patrice Motsepe, Aliko Dangote, Tiger Woods and Rihanna making a small group of black billionaires.

Those featured on the list are in various industries such as telecoms, entertainment, energy, mining, fashion, beauty and sports. 

Ten of the billionaires featured on the list are from Africa, another 10 are from the United States, while one is Jamaican-Canadian and one is from Barbados.
